city protection and its cost... Empty city protection and its cost...

Now i know this will be a huge thing to argue about, but i would like to throw in my two cents.

the thing is, that i feel like the current protection prices are a bit off.

at the moment the prices are

10 for 20x20 =400 blocks and 40 blocks for 1 g
20 for 40x40= 1600 blocks and 80 blocks for 1 g
...
50 for 100x100= 10 000 blocks and 200 blocks for 1 g

so basically i see it as rewarding rich players with more riches.

What i would suggest, that we do a modular price instead...weather it is a certain price for a block or a price for an area...

i think that the 40x40 for 20g is a fair price...i would like it to be the module...but a certain value for 1 block would also be fair.

so if you need ..hmm lets say 80 x 80...you would need to buy 4 40x40 modules...that would be 80g

and i think that 80x80 is HUGE...

also i would like, that the area would actually be 80x80x128...that means that you also get the air above and the ground below...

i feel like the protection is a privilege and i would like to be proud to be privileged...but just seeing someone buying 10x more land for 2x of the price doesn't fit me...

since i havent been able to contact sasha for a while and neo has been absent as well, i`ll post my suggestions for a new protection system so that a 100x100 area isnt so ridiculously cheap.

Taking into account that a 10x10 area is 1 gold and 1 gold is equal to 48 RS thus,

10x10= 100cubes² : 1 gold = 48RS

thus 100cubes² = 48RS

than 100/48 = 1 RS 2per cube² of land

If we switched the numbers to account for non-ridiculous low prices, following mathematically the prices would be thus:

20x20 = 16.67 gold
40x40 = 66.67 gold
60x60 = 150 gold
80x80 = 266.67 gold
100x100 = 416.67 gold

Rather then the current

20x20 = 10gold
40x40 = 20gold
60x60 = 30gold
80x80 = 40gold
100x100 = 50 gold

Now OBVIOUSLY these prices are way expensive and are highly illogical to impose so what if we lowered the price to 1.5 RS per cube²?

20x20 = 12.5 gold
40x40 = 50 gold
60x60 = 112.5 gold
80x80 = 200 gold
100x100 = 312.5 gold

Do those prices seem alot more reasonable? since now we are standardizing the unit price of each cube of land rather then giving arbitary numbers to them.

if 10x10 is 1 gold
and 20x20 is four 10x10-s
then 20x20 should be 4 gold
...
30x30 = 9 gold ( 9 x 10x10)
40x40 = 16 gold (16 x 10x10)
50x50 = 25 gold (25 x 10x10)
60x60 = 36 gold (36x ...)
70x70 = 49 gold
80x80 = 64 gold
90x90 = 81 gold
100x100= 100 gold

40x60= 24 gold
30x50= 15 gold
multiply the first numbers and divide by 100

10x10 is a house,

20x20 is a start of a city or a personal mansion, thus the price in consistencies between 10x10 and 20x20

granted i forgot to mention i switched the price of RS and Cube² from 20x20 upwards because the price was thus in the beginning;

1g = 48 RS
1g = 10x10
thus
48rs = 100
1rs = 100/48
1rs = 2 cubes

and that would have made the rest of the prices ridiculously cheap

Thank you for clarifying it for a dumbass like me Very Happy

The prices you suggested in the first post are actually really fair and nice, so you have one yes vote.

I dont exacty think its fair.. id say

30x30 = 60 gold
40x40 = 80 gold
50x50 = 100 gold
60x60 = 120 gold
70x70 = 140 gold
80x80 = 160 gold
90x90 = 180 gold
100x100= 200 gold

30x30x30 = 120 gold
40x40x40 = 160 gold
50x50x50 = 200 gold
60x60x60 = 240 gold
70x70x70 = 280 gold
80x80x80 = 320 gold
90x90x90 = 360 gold
100x100x100= 400 gold

Also If you want to add a Z axis(up and down) is should be..
I want 30 blocks going up and down thats 60 gold. why? because your getting Double the space no just one direction, so if you wanted to spend 15gold you woud have 15blocks up and 15 blocks down. Its reasonable.

Just because one person wants to be able to have a Z axis(up/down) dosent mean the prices should raise for everyone, it should be a choice..
Also you could always ask for going down in ONE direction say you want 30x30x30 so thats 30x30 X and Y axis then they want 30 going down, not 15up and 15down.

Feel free to post what you think!~ if you agree select "yes" or "No" on my Mirror post. Very Happy
